We built 13 new homes on a large site where four substantial semi-detached properties had previously stood, dramatically improving the opportunities for people wishing to live in Bream.
Two of the families that lived in the original houses chose to move back, taking the chance to down-size to bungalows at the same time.
The houses were designed to blend with the existing properties on this well-established road which runs through this village in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The plot backs onto Forestry Commission land, making it a lovely woodland location.
The cul-de-sac has been named John Hale Close, after an influential local councillor.
